Annual saving
6 kWp with three optimisers, running since April 2024. It has generated 23,399 kWh, around 10,028 kWh a year. That works out at 1,671 kWh for every kWp installed: the best performance in our whole portfolio.
It is a modest installation by the standards of the area, and that is exactly what makes it interesting. The credit does not go to its size but to the orientation of the roof and to using optimisers to deal with the patches of shade affecting it.
"My roof is small, it is not worth it"
It is the objection we hear most, and this case takes it apart. A small installation that is well oriented and well designed performs better per euro invested than a large one that is poorly planned. The limit is not set by the number of panels, it is set by the design.

Fine-tune rather than oversize
It is common to want the biggest installation that will fit. In many homes that only creates surplus that is exported to the grid for considerably less than it costs to buy the same energy back later. Matching the capacity to real consumption usually gives a better return.
€2,507 a year
From six kilowatts peak. The figure comes from generation measured by the system itself since 2024.
Who this case is useful for
For anyone with a small roof who assumes it is not worth it. Six kilowatts peak, properly oriented, beat much larger installations in our own portfolio on performance. Before you rule your roof out, let us measure it.
