How we handle your personal data and what rights you have
1. Controller and data we collect

We collect the data you give us through the website forms or by phone, email and WhatsApp: name, phone number, email address, postcode, property address and details of your electricity supply (consumption, contracted power, CUPS supply number and bill) when you send them to us for a survey.
We also collect technical browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, and aggregated website usage data.
We do not process special categories of data or data relating to minors. If you give us data about other people, you confirm that you have their consent to do so.
We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
2. What we use it for and on what legal basis
We process your data to:
Answer your enquiries and quote requests
Prepare the technical and financial study for your installation
Manage the contract, installation and maintenance
Handle the legalisation and any grants with public bodies and companies
Send you information about your project and, if you agree, marketing information
The legal basis is your consent when you fill in a form or write to us; performance of the contract once you are a client; compliance with legal obligations on tax, accounting and installation legalisation; and our legitimate interest in improving our service and website.
We keep the data for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the legal limitation periods. If you only asked us for information and did not sign a contract, we delete it within one year at most.
We may share your data with public authorities and electricity companies where this is essential to process your installation or contract, and with our technology providers, who act as data processors.
3. Cookies
This website uses its own cookies that are needed for it to work and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel) to understand how it is used and to measure our ads.
The first time you visit, you will see a notice where you can accept or reject them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

Rejecting analytics and advertising cookies does not affect how the website normally works.
4. Security and providers
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
The website is hosted by Framer B.V. (Netherlands) and the forms are managed on its platform. Email and messaging are provided by GDPR-compliant providers. The bills you send us through the website arrive in our email and are stored in Google Drive (Google Workspace), only to prepare your study.
Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
No system is infallible. If we detected a breach affecting your data, we would let you know and notify the supervisory authority as required by the GDPR.
5. Your rights
You can exercise these rights at any time:
Access: knowing what data of yours we process
Rectification and erasure of your data
Objection and withdrawal of consent
Portability of the data you gave us
Restriction of processing
To exercise them, write to info@sunsystem.es saying which right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your DNI, NIE or passport. We will reply within one month at most.
If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.
